Biography
Sabrina Plisco's career spans nearly 30 years as an editor in both feature films and television with a title list of over 40 projects. Her feature career took off when she jumped into the pioneering visual effects movie Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow. This experience would serve her well as the editor for the visually dazzling Doctor Strange. Over the years, she found a niche on a number of projects that combine animation and live-action, such as the R-rated comedy Strays released in August 2023 and more family-friendly projects like Charlotte’s Web, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Smurfs movies, and Clifford The Big Red Dog. And Sabrina’s return to musicals is a holiday nativity story titled Journey to Bethlehem coming out in November 2023.
Her experience on the small screen front is extensive as well. The television miniseries Uprising received an ACE Eddie nomination, and in 2015 Sabrina was nominated for an Emmy on the A&E miniseries Houdini. In recent years, she has edited episodes of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories reboot as well as Ms. Marvel, her second collaboration with Marvel.
